The Cheap and Cheerful One
This was a video for a small company selling safety-knives. They didn’t have much money, and we didn’t have much time – it had to be shot in one day, in a basic studio. It was our job to make it interesting with limited resources.
We had to use our imaginations a bit, and come up with something stylish. We did a little horror-film intro, complete with slo-mo and screeching violins, to show the dangers of The Wrong Kind of Knife. And finally we used digital graphics to tart it all up – knife blades cutting the screen in half, and so on. It was fun.
